In response to an earthquake with a maximum seismic intensity of just under 5 that occurred in the Hyuga-nada Sea on the night of the 13th, the Japan Meteorological Agency announced Nankai Trough Earthquake Temporary Information (under investigation). This is the second announcement of temporary information since August 2024.
